520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. |
Summary, etc. |
In Newton-type methods, iteration parameters play a key role. Suitable choices of these parameters not only speed up convergence, but also extend the convergence domain. Moreover, special choices allow us to control the convergence behavior of iterations. Over the last two decades, many papers on this topic have been published, and it is highly desirable to systematically collect these results. This motivates us to write this monograph based on our research results obtained in collaboration with the co-authors. Since the topic is of importance, we believe that this book will be useful to readers, graduate students and researchers interested in the field of applied mathematics, numerical analysis and applied sciences. |
